AATR Audition

I should probably have drawn this on paper with my inks instead on straight into photoshop with my tablet but I need to practice doing that, so I did.

And no, those creatures aren't my OCs (they can by found here [link]) just things I thought would populate the real. They said that the real is pretty much what ever you want it to be and is created by the thoughts of others so I thought I'd view it as a sort of cartoon silent hill where everything is pertaining to part of the individual's psych coated in a thick layer of symbolism. So that's what I did, here I figured since I'm freaked out when I go to another country by plane I'd be even more freaked out by falling into another realm via a cupboard so I designed everything to be frightening, confusing and hectic. Other parts of me are shown in it too, the area looks like a carnival because I've never really likes them, too bright, too many people, to much confusing going on and a little bit scary (clowns are freaky) so I put that in to add to the hectic nature of falling into the real. the roller coaster saves me because although I hate carnivals, I love roller coasters and so is there as a safety net. The roller coaster track looks unsafe and unstable, not because I am but because I know nothing about architecture and so they complicated structures in the real will reflect that by being somewhat unfeasible. There is symbolic meaning to the creatures I meet there but I'm not going to explain them, because what's the fun in that?
